FOUNDING TALENT · NOW RECRUITING

Be the reason
they tune in.
And come back.

The quick wit. The room-reading instinct. The way you make a stranger feel like they belong.

We're looking for the personalities who could become the next faces of OH THAT!—starting with live games and irresistible product discoveries.

Casting and development now. Paid bookings as programming grows.

MAKE THEM LAUGH. MAKE THEM FEEL WELCOME. MAKE THEM WANT TO COME BACK.

ENTERTAINMENT. COMMERCE. COMMUNITY.

A show worth watching.
A team worth joining.

A great host gives people a reason to stay. A great community gives them a reason to return.

OH THAT! brings live entertainment, shopping, and community together. Our first talent opportunities center on I KNOW THAT!, where the game and the product discoveries each have their own personality.

We're building a network, and a bench of people who can grow with it. Someone who joins as a host could find their next opportunity in another format, a special, or a live event.

Even the person who buys nothing should leave happier than they arrived.

TWO DIFFERENT SPOTLIGHTS

Where do you
come alive?

You don't have to be great at everything on day one. Show us where you shine. We'll explore the fit.

01 / THE GAMEQUIZ MASTER

You're the reason
they keep playing.

You can land a joke, explain the rules, read the moment, and make the person on the other side of the screen feel included.

  • Bring warmth, pace, and personality to the game.
  • Make questions and transitions feel effortless.
  • Think on your feet and work with your co-host.

Your superpower: making people want one more round.

I'm curious about Quiz Master
02 / THE DISCOVERYDEAL MASTER

You make people say,
“Oh, I want that.”

You can turn a product demonstration into a story, explain why something is useful, and sell with enthusiasm people believe.

  • Show what makes a product interesting.
  • Keep demonstrations clear, lively, and honest.
  • Build a conversation, not a sales monologue.

Your superpower: making a good find feel personal.

I'm curious about Deal Master

A performer, creator, emcee, storyteller, salesperson, or the friend who somehow ends up holding the microphone? We'd like to see what you bring. A huge following isn't a requirement.

MORE THAN A SLOT IN THE RUNDOWN

Bring your talent.
Build what
comes next.

01

Develop your craft.

Learn the format, practice the handoffs, get useful feedback, and build confidence in front of the camera. We'll cross-train hosts so you can develop beyond your first role.

02

Build your visibility.

We want talent people remember. Our approach includes useful performance clips, coordinated media opportunities, and promotion that helps you and the show grow.

03

Have somewhere to grow.

Certified Host. Regular Host. Lead Host. Potentially a featured personality or a new format. Advancement comes from demonstrated ability and the opportunities the network can support.

04

Keep being you.

Your style and outside creative life matter. We support ambition—even when success eventually takes you somewhere bigger. Required professionalism. Optional karaoke.

THE PAID BOOKING MODEL

Get paid to perform.
Share in the success.

We're building a program where talent participates in the commercial value the show creates.

$100FOUNDING REGULAR TALENT SHOW FEE

Per completed regular show assignment.

A standard fee. Shared upside.

The $100 is the established fee for this class of completed regular show assignment—not an audition rate or a draw against incentives. Shared Success is additional and reflects eligible commerce across the programming period.

The terms come before the commitment.

The Founding Talent Compensation Plan explains the proposed 16-show pilot, eligible sales, shares, founder coverage, and settlement. You'll receive confirmed terms before a booking. Variable earnings can be zero; future shows and income aren't guaranteed.

WHY WE'RE CASTING NOW

Get ready before
your cue comes.

We want to meet and develop our future hosts before we need to put them on air.

Ken, our founder, is hosting the launch. As audience and sales grow enough to support paid talent, the plan is to bring trained hosts into the rotation and transition him out of regular hosting.

Right now, we're recruiting for the talent bench. That means getting to know candidates, auditioning, and preparing selected people for future opportunities—not promising an immediate paid schedule or a fixed start date.

Before any training or rehearsal commitment, we'll explain the scope, schedule, and compensation terms. Joining the casting process doesn't commit you to unpaid show work.

FROM HELLO TO SHOW READY

Let's find out
what you can do.

  1. 01

    Introduce yourself.

Tell us what interests you, where you're based, and what you've done. Share a clip if you have one.

  2. 02

    Show your spark.

A short audition helps us see your personality, instincts, and potential fit. You don't need a studio-quality reel.

  3. 03

    Build the skills.

Selected candidates move into agreed training, technical checks, and a mock show. Practice comes before a live booking.

  4. 04

    Be ready for the call.

Once certified, you'll be considered for regular or backup opportunities as the schedule and business support them.

FUN IS PART OF THE JOB. RESPECT IS THE FOUNDATION.

Big personalities.
No permission
to be a jerk.

Queer warmth. Quick wit. Room for different kinds of fabulous.

You should feel supported here, and help other people feel that way too. We coach privately, learn together, protect talent from audience abuse, and celebrate the people who make the whole show better.

We welcome different ages, backgrounds, bodies, and styles. Product fit is something we test—not something we assume from how you look.

We ask you to prepare, be camera-ready at our one-hour-before-air Call Time, take direction, and tell the truth about products. We provide required branded apparel and the materials you need to prepare.

You don't have to become everyone's best friend. You do have to be someone people can count on.

A FEW GOOD QUESTIONS

Before you
raise your hand.

How does Shared Success work?

The working pilot formula combines 5% of eligible net controlled-merchandise sales and 10% of OH THAT!'s eligible affiliate receipts. Taxes and shipping do not count; discounts, cancellations, refunds, returns, and chargebacks affect net sales. The weekly calculated amount is divided by the published eligible share positions, and you receive the value of your earned shares. The plan defines the working denominator, company-retained positions, and the accounting details still awaiting confirmation.

If Ken hosts six of seven one-position shows and you cover one, a $1,400 weekly calculated amount produces a $200 share. Your completed assignment earns $100 plus $200; his waived $1,200 stays with OH THAT!. This is a formula example, not an earnings forecast.

Read the full Compensation Plan (PDF).

When do I get paid?

The intended plan provides weekly provisional earnings statements and monthly reconciliation/payment of Shared Success. Exact settlement deadlines and the separate Show Fee payment schedule have not yet been finalized. Those dates must be supplied in the reviewed written terms before you accept an affected booking. Ordinary merchandise returns do not claw back an earned Show Fee.

What am I agreeing to when I accept a show?

A confirmed assignment includes the role, Call Time, location, expected duties and finish, and applicable compensation terms. You complete the T-24 Ready Check, arrive camera-ready at T-60, follow Production direction, protect game integrity, and use approved product claims. Separate training, meetings, and field duties have disclosed terms.

Read the Talent Standards and Operating Handbook (PDF), or browse all candidate documents.

Can I host remotely?

Remote hosting is part of the model. You'll need a Production-approved setup with clear audio, good lighting, reliable internet, and a workable backup connection. Product demonstrations also need the right sample or approved demo plan. Technical certification comes before booking.

Do I need professional hosting experience?

Relevant experience helps, but we want to see personality, clarity, judgment, reliability, and coachability. A following or a perfect reel isn't a substitute for connecting with an audience.

Is this a paid job starting immediately?

We're casting and developing the bench now. Ken remains the launch host until audience and sales can support paid talent bookings. There is no guaranteed start date or number of shows. The $100 Show Fee applies to completed, confirmed regular show assignments; training and other commitments have their own disclosed terms.

What if I fit both roles?

Tell us. Cross-training is part of the program. Production decides the assignment, and covering both functions doesn't automatically create a second Show Fee or a second regular Performance Share.

Can I keep my other work and sponsorships?

Yes. We respect outside careers and independent creative work. Material conflicts with a scheduled product or sponsor need to be disclosed and managed. We don't ask you to make a false endorsement.

What about guest creators or live events?

Creator appearances with specific promotional deliverables, featured engagements, and company-directed field assignments can have separately negotiated terms. Let us know what you bring. They are distinct from the regular host program.
