PRIVACY POLICY
Last updated August 29, 2026. OH THAT! is operated by FranklinAlexander Ventures, LLC.
This policy describes how information is handled on this website. It reflects what the website actually does today: it collects information you type into forms, and it records basic technical information needed to serve and secure the pages. Version 2026-08-29.
1. Who operates this site
OH THAT! is operated by FranklinAlexander Ventures, LLC. OH THAT! is a Seagrass Media Group brand. Seagrass Media Group is a division of FranklinAlexander Ventures, LLC. FranklinAlexander Ventures, LLC is the party responsible for the information practices described here. A public business address will be published here once confirmed; until then, please use the Contact & Support page.
2. Scope
This policy covers this website. It does not cover a marketplace checkout, buyer account, seller payout system, or live-streaming service, because those are not operating yet. Separate or updated disclosures will be published before any of those functions launch.
3. Information you give us directly
Depending on the form you use, we may collect:
- Early-access registration: first name, email address, optional mobile number, country, and the interest areas you select.
- Founding-seller and seller-interest applications: name, email address, optional mobile number, business or shop name, links, general location, product categories, what you want to sell, quantity or inventory notes, product links, optional product images, where you sell today, ownership of the product, interest in selling live or being hosted, live-selling experience, and how you heard about OH THAT!
- Host audition interest: name, contact details, and what you tell us about your experience and the material you would present.
- Sponsorship and partnership inquiries: name, company, title, email address, phone number, website, the package you are interested in, audience or channel information, and your notes.
- Contact messages: the category you choose, your name, email address, subject, and message.
- Consent records: the wording you were shown, the form and page, the policy versions in effect, your choice, and the date and time.
Optional fields are optional. Please do not send us sensitive information — such as health information, government identification numbers, or financial account details — through these forms.
4. Information collected automatically
Our hosting and backend providers process standard technical data needed to deliver and protect the site, including IP address, request time and path, browser and device characteristics, and error diagnostics. If you allow analytics cookies, we also store, in your browser, the page you first landed on, the referring website, and any campaign or referral parameters in the link you followed, and we attach that information to a form submission so we can tell which outreach brought you here. If you do not allow analytics, that information is not stored and is not attached to your submission.
We do not use advertising pixels, third-party ad networks, cross-site tracking, or session-replay tools on this site.
5. Cookies and similar technologies
We use a small number of necessary browser-storage items and, only with your permission, optional preference and analytics storage. Details, categories, and durations are in the Cookie Policy, where you can also change your choices at any time.
6. Why we use information
- To review, evaluate, and respond to applications, registrations, and inquiries.
- To contact you about your submission and, where you agreed, to send launch updates, show announcements, and marketing email.
- To operate, secure, debug, and improve the website.
- To understand which outreach and referral sources bring people here, where you allowed analytics.
- To keep records of consent and of communications, and to comply with legal obligations.
- To prevent fraud, abuse, and misuse of our forms.
We use your information for the purpose it was provided. Where the law requires a legal basis, we rely on your consent for marketing and optional analytics, on our legitimate interests in operating and securing the site and in evaluating applications, on the steps necessary to enter into a possible relationship you have asked about, and on compliance with legal obligations.
7. Sensitive characteristics
OH THAT! does not infer or create profiles concerning a person’s sexual orientation, gender identity, HIV status, health status, or similar sensitive characteristics based on what they view, purchase, submit, or engage with on the service.
8. Vendors and service providers we actually use
We keep our vendor list small. Today, the following providers process information on our behalf or as part of delivering this site:
- Lovable — website hosting, build, and deployment infrastructure, which processes standard request and error data.
- Supabase — the managed database and file storage where form submissions, uploaded product images, and consent records are stored.
- Google Fonts — serves the typefaces used on the site; your browser requests the font files from Google, which receives the request data needed to deliver them.
These providers are permitted to use the information only to provide their services to us. We do not currently use a customer-relationship platform, an email-marketing platform, an analytics vendor, an advertising network, a payment processor, a CAPTCHA provider, or an embedded video provider on this site. If we add any of them, this section and the Cookie Policy will be updated before or when they go live.
9. Marketing communications
We send marketing email only to people who asked for it. Every marketing message will include a way to unsubscribe, and unsubscribing does not affect messages about an application you submitted. Consent to marketing text messages is collected separately, is never required, and no marketing text messages are being sent at this time.
10. When information is disclosed
We share information with the service providers listed above so they can run the site and store our records. We may also disclose information to our professional advisers, to comply with law or valid legal process, to protect our rights, safety, or property, or with your direction or permission.
We do not sell personal information for money, and we do not share personal information with third parties for cross-context behavioral or targeted advertising. Sharing with a service provider that acts only on our instructions is not a sale or a share for advertising purposes. If that ever changes, we will update this policy and provide the choices the law requires before the change takes effect.
11. Business transfers
If we are involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, or sale of assets, information covered by this policy may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to this policy or a successor policy that continues to protect it.
12. Retention
We keep application, inquiry, contact, and consent records for as long as needed to evaluate and respond to them, to maintain our business records, and to meet legal requirements, after which we delete or de-identify them. Detailed retention schedules are being finalized as the business builds out; you can ask us to delete your information at any time as described below.
13. Security
Form submissions travel over encrypted connections, and our database restricts read access to authorized administrators. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot promise absolute security. Please avoid sending sensitive information through our forms.
14. Your privacy choices and requests
You can ask us to:
- confirm what information about you we hold and give you a copy;
- correct inaccurate information;
- delete your information;
- stop sending you marketing email or text messages;
- change or withdraw your cookie choices, which you can also do yourself at any time.
Send requests through the Contact & Support page using the “Privacy requests” category. We will need enough information to locate your records and to verify that the request comes from you or an authorized agent. We do not discriminate against anyone for exercising a privacy right.
15. U.S. state privacy rights
Residents of states with comprehensive privacy laws — including California, Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, Texas, Oregon, and others — may have rights to access, correct, delete, obtain a portable copy of, and limit certain uses of their personal information, and to appeal a decision on a request. We honor those rights for the information described in this policy. Because we do not sell personal information for money or share it for targeted advertising, there is nothing to opt out of in those categories today. To appeal a decision, reply to our response or submit a new privacy request describing the appeal.
16. International visitors
The site is operated from the United States and information is processed and stored there. If you visit from outside the United States, you understand that your information will be transferred to and handled in the United States, where privacy laws may differ from those in your country. Marketplace services are not being offered internationally at this time.
17. Children’s privacy
The site is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has submitted information, contact us and we will delete it.
18. Changes to this policy
We will update this policy as the site and the business develop. The version and “last updated” date at the top identify the current version, and material changes will be described here.
19. Privacy contact
Use the Contact & Support page and choose “Privacy requests.” Messages in that category reach the people responsible for privacy at FranklinAlexander Ventures, LLC.
